Sacred Heart Parish Scholarship
Every year, Sacred Heart Catholic Church bestows the exclusive and prestigious Sacred Heart Parish Scholarship, a testament to our commitment to supporting the academic pursuits of our graduating seniors. This scholarship, valued at $ 1,000.00 each, is a unique opportunity that could significantly contribute to your college education. Applications for this esteemed scholarship, a rare chance, are available at the Rectory office, Monday-Thursday, from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Applicants will be evaluated based on their responses to the application questions and their reference letters. The deadline for submitting applications is the Last Monday in February.
CCD & RCIC
Sacred Heart Parish 2024-2025 Welcome to the Sacred Heart Parish 2024-2025 CCD & RCIC Registration Information!
We are excited to share that our program, RCIA (Rite of Christian Initiation for Adults), CCD (Confraternity of Christian Doctrine), and RCIC (Rite of Christian Initiation for Children), is designed to help your children grow spiritually, build community, and learn moral values. The program includes interactive lessons, group discussions, and community service projects. Our program is open to children in grades 1-8 and meets every Wednesday from 5:30-6:30 p.m. Early registration is encouraged from April 17 through June 30, 2024. We request a fee of $25.00 per student, which will go towards the purchase of program materials.
To register your child, please complete the form and return it with a check payable to Sacred Heart Parish (see in the memo: CCD) by May 18/19. You can drop off the forms in person at the registration table after each Mass, mail them back, or drop them off at the Rectory.
Please note that beginning July 1, 2024, the registration fee will increase to $30.00 per student. Late registration after August 1, 2024, may result in your child being unable to participate in the program. We encourage you to register early to secure your child's spot and to allow us to plan effectively for the upcoming year. Thank you for being an example of faith to your children. We look forward to welcoming your child to our program and helping them grow spiritually, emotionally, and socially.
