Our School
Why Sacred Heart Catholic School?
Our Mission Statement, “To love and serve God and our neighbors, to learn to the best of our abilities, to use these skills to be faithful and responsible Catholic Christians, and to shine forth our faith through the power of the Holy Spirit,” is indicative of our commitment to provide educational programs for our students through the life and teachings of Christ. We prepare our students to be leaders in their communities for the common good, embrace the rich traditions of the Catholic Church, and assist parents in nurturing and strengthening the religious faith of our children. Our 8th grade graduates excel in high school because of the strong foundation they receive at Sacred Heart Catholic School.
Since 1910, Sacred Heart Catholic School has proudly served families of all faiths from San Juan County and has built a reputation for academic excellence that is rich in Catholic identity and is Fully Accredited through WCEA, The Western Catholic Educational Association. Students are accepted without regard to race, color, or national origins. Children of all faiths are welcomed and expected to share in religious education.
