Our School
Sacred Heart Catholic School offers classes from 3yr-old Pre-School through 8th grade.
To help with life’s demands we provide a before school program from 7:00 a.m. to 7:45 a.m. and an after-school program from 3:00 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. for all grades.
Each year our enrollment process begins with priority enrollment of current students and their siblings followed by students who are parishioners of Sacred Heart Catholic Church & surrounding parishes in the Diocese of Gallup.
Finally, we offer open enrollment to the public for available seats in each grade. Waiting lists will be created for grades that reach the limit.
Before a transfer student is accepted, the principal will review the student’s records from their previous school. A satisfactory academic and conduct record from the prior school is essential. As a private school, the teaching-learning environment may not be designed to accommodate the needs of all children.
Families are encouraged to visit the school to get to know the campus & staff. Campus visits can be scheduled through the office at 505-325-7512.

Please note: Sacred Heart Catholic School Follows the New Mexico Public Education age requirements for admission:
- To be enrolled in any New Mexico School public, charter or private school a 3-year-old Pre-School child shall be at least three years of age prior to 12:01 a.m., on September 1, of the school year in which they are enrolling.
- A 4-year-old Pre-Kindergarten child shall be at least four years of age prior to 12:01 a.m., on September 1, of the school year in which they are enrolling.
- A Kindergarten child shall be at least five years of age prior to 12:01 a.m., on September 1, of the school year in which they are enrolling.
