17 Parish Mission "Just a guy in the Pews"
We are pleased to announce that we will have a parish mission with John Edwards, who has a wonderful podcast called “Just a Guy in the Pews”. John is a convert to Catholicism and has an amazing story of how Christ brought him to the Roman Catholic Church. He will be giving conferences each evening at 7 p.m. Sunday to Tuesday, Oct. 17 to 19. All are welcomed to attend this free mission.

24 Parish Picnic- Kiwanis Park
I am happy to announce that our Parish Picnic, which had been suspended due to the Covid outbreak, will be back this year on Sunday, Oct. 24th, at Kiwanis Park. If you would like to help cook or help coordinate with Al Hale, please call him at (505) 860-4233. Free hamburgers and hot dogs will be provided along with plates, napkins, cups and cutlery. We ask that you bring side dishes, deserts and also bring a picnic blanket or chairs to sit in under the shade trees at Kiwanis Park. Mass will be at Noon and then the picnic will immediately follow.

Southwest Catholic Youth Conference

If you are a teenager or young adult who would like to spend a life
affirming, wildly exciting day with hundreds of other Catholic youth, the
10th annual Southwest Catholic Youth Conference is for you. Coming,
October 23rd (9 a.m. to 6 p.m.), to the Farmington Civic Center, youth
will gather to learn, sing, praise, and pray at this dynamic and fun one
day conference. Very special guests include MC’s Fr. Carl Wertin and Fr.
Josh Mayer; speakers/singers/songwriters Steve Angrisano and Sarah
Hart; Bishop Berg, and Bishop Wall. Lunch and snacks are all included in
the $30 ticket price (price increases to $35 after 10/8).
